Hey guys I have a question that hopefully somebody can answer. First of all my setup is as follows:

KA24DECAI3" CatbackTest PipeAccel Performance Plug WiresEGR EliminatedHotshot HeaderDual Electric Fans

I'm thinking of purchasing some new cams and was wondering some of your opinions. Would Brian Crower 272's be too big for what I currently I have. I'm leaning toward needing a full build before I get them which obviously would be better. But my main question is would it hurt to put these in on my current setup and what an estimate of what numbers I would see as well as if anybody else has used these and their experience. Really rough idle etc etc?

If installed I will also install a Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump and maybe even an SAFC. I plan on going KA-T within 6 months and adding forged rods and pistons.

The Crower 272's are higher end cams having a useful range of 1,500 to 7,000 RPM, however the idle is very choppy and low speed street performance not too good. The KA24 blocks use a long stroke (3.78") and are red-lined at 6,900 RPM so they're not a high RPM motor.

A better choice, IMO, would be a Crower 264 which is also a turbo cam. Since you're going turbo, this might be the cam for you.
