Thinking about picking up a g50 q45 to drive while I build my hardbody since the engine threw a rod. I've been reading about the z32 suspension swap and while looking around I found these on enjuku racing http://www.enjukuracing.com/products/Ks ... %2796.html the description is just a generic one and doesn't really say much. Are these bolt on or would I still have to do some modding?

top of z32 suspension bolts up but you will need to bore out the large bolt at the bottom of the strut. z32 strut is about 1/4 too small. May want to look at another route considering how much coilovers cost.

So the coilovers I posted in the link that are listed for 90-96 q45 still need to be modified to work?

Sweet getting a q45 for a daily seems like a better idea everyday. I was thinking either z31 or q45. But I think a q45 is a way better deal per dollar.

If the q45 is a 90-93 then the lower pin that the lower part of the strut slides over is a smaller diameter than the 94-96 years so you shouldn't have any problem there with the Z32 suspension other than height and weight rating differences. I thought that they updated the pin on the 94-96 Z32 to the larger size also?

I have a set of Z32 fronts at home. Bottom bolt def would not bolt up to my 93, not even close.

So what you are saying is that the pin on your 93 is larger then the hole in the bottom of the Z32 strut?
