I've searched quite a bit for this as well and the only thing that comes up for a qr25de supercharger is what borg warner did years ago with a sentra. It was one-off, cant be purchased. I honestly think either a place who does do it is not a big name shop and cant be found by the internet, or the market for a qr25de supercharged is so small that its not even worth putting such a kit into production. Whatever the reason is, I would love to S/C my altima as well coming from a Cobalt SS/SC.

No, there's none. You'd have to get one custom made and that's a lot of cash. Plus, if you have CVT on the 2.5, it's trouble, much worse than CVT on 3.5 for handling boost so you're prolly dead in the water.

Yea of course, everyone knows that. But to have a supercharger kit for the qr25de would be TITS. Anyone who has ever had a supercharged vehicle knows that obviously in all out forced induction horsepower race, turbo's wil always prevail. However when it comes to STREET-ability, and having that instant boost from a roots type supercharger is just flat out awesome, no lag!

I got a 2.5 as well, but i also got the 6-speed. Coming from a Cobalt SS/SC im itching for more power even though that is not what this car is designed for, i just think it would be an awesome build and these engines are pretty reliable from what i understand in research. If the engine was turned around and the exhaust was flowing from the back, intake coming through the front, then we would have that entire space in front of the motor to stuff a supercharger..the way our engines sit in the bay now doesnt really allow for a roots type supercharger, maybe a centrifugal, but turbo's do seem the route to go with these 2.5's.

On a side note does anyone else wish they had limited slip differential?

Not even trying to put a SS/SC on the pedestal. Its not a good car in my opinon, it was a piece of s*** to be honest because it was in the shop 7 times in 6 months. BUT the difference between this 2.5 and the cobalt performance wise is wide in margin. THATS all im saying. Which is why I would like LSD and F/I on my 2.5. Since supercharging it isnt even possible then turbo is the route obviously. Relax lol
