Drift tax and the previous owners Over all seem to be pretty good cars for reliability unless they have been whooped on. Check for rust.

umm i mean the tension rod bushings tend to be gone on most cars with stock stuff..... i would check out the water pump + normal matnience ****. Also on s14s the stupid handles inside the doors always seem to break where they connect to door lol.

I bought bone stock 1989 base model which was built in 11/88 this last summer and am so very happy. Previous owner rebuilt the auto transmission. but I swapped that for a manual.

Main problem - Stock front seats are all wore out on all of these cars. They are so damn uncomfortable. I swapped mine out for R32 seats and whenever I ride in a buddies 240 with OG seats I can't stant how uncomfortable they are.

Suspension bushings. Tension rod bushings are blown. Will fix when I upgrade the suspension in the future. Had to replace a sway bar bushing that fell off.

Cruise control doesn't work properly. Thats fine I want to swap out all the cruise parts for non cruise parts from a parts car.

Stock foam spoiler will leave your hatch rusty. We removed the spoiler, cut out the rust, then welded in new metal and added bondo and paint - good as new.

Slight electrical problem with rear lights that I haven't been able to figure out.

Engine is still a champ!!!! However, I had an unraped automatic which still runs so strong with high compression.

Probably the best car purchase I've ever made. My parents have always driven Nissans but it took this car for me to see the light.
