well I guess this posts answers my question from the other thread you started. The 03's did apparently have a high occurrence of the problems you mention. From what I can tell, the transmission problems were hit or miss, but it was more of a problem than in later years. Tire feathering may be a problem, but personally, I think it's more of an issue you;ll fond common to some extent in many high performance cars. As anyone tried to enhance performance by optimizing alignment, you tend to get wear issues with the tires. AS far as the axle problem, if you are referring to the clicking that people get, the axle nuts on the hub just need to be retorqued. Happened on my G35 and took it in for warranty. Hasn't had a problem since.

so in other words nothing really to major that should prevent me from buying this car...if there is a transmission problem how many miles does it start in at and what are the symptoms...also is it an expensive fix...

from what i heard, 03's respond better to mods without throwing codes.

03/04 350z's are getting cheeper and cheeper. You should have no trouble finding a good deal on one.

Most are priced between $22K~$32k.
