since I have a flat in one of my contis I need to replace one tire, but if I replace say one conti I can already buy 2 of those yokos...need some reviews...how are they in the rain? How are they in the dry? how bout iffy road surfaces?

There is no such thing as a 'new' A520. They were discontinued a long time ago. Those have to be at least two years old at best. Even under ideal storage conditions they are likely hard as a brick by now. I wouldn't mix them with new, fresh tires. Even when new they were never one of the better wet traction tires and were fairly loud. Not one of Yokohama's best efforts. The replacement AVS ES100 was a big upgrade in wet traction, noise, and dry handling.

I turned a set of them into smoke. I was happier with them than some of the other tires I've used.
