I got my engine started and although it ran it seems to have a miss. I looked through the fsm and on EC-218 it states that when readiing coils that coils on cyl's one and two are read on terminals 1&2 and the rest of the coils are read on terminals 2&3.

Does this mean that the coils are different between cyl's 1,2 and 3-8 or are the coils identical but just use different terminals?

Those front two coils are shorter than the other six. They must have changed something around when they changed the shape of it.

Cool, I never noticed that cuz when I took out my coils I left them all connected together and put them back the same way. After I pulled the cover off I saw what you are talking about. My concern was that they were in the wrong spots but that's pretty much impossible as they have different plugs.

They all ohmed out good and so did the PTU so it's those 2 injectors that are stuck causing the misfire...'s.

Damn, if this thing ran that good with 2 dead cyl's I can't wait to get it running right. It was super smooth but I could feel a studder to it. I just can't believe that there were 2.

The ****ed up thing is that I have never driven the Z before or the Q that the engine came out of. I have zero pre-conceived notions of how it's supposed to be. So far I'm pretty impressed.

I Through some injectors into some nitro the high octane fuel for the rc gas cars the pink stuff.. maybe just by chance it cleaned it up... let it sit over night. Should work with carb cleaner or brake cleaner shouldn't it? To try to clean it out?

Yeah my buddy said kerosene would unstick them. I have been thinking about it. Then running a tank or two of BG44K through them. I dunno. I'll probably cheap out. The twins are almost here so I don't think I'll have a choice but to cheap out.
