Are the timing chain covers on a KA24E and KA24DE different?

I'm wondering if they can be used interchangeably. The Google searches that I've made say both "yes" and "no", so it leaves me pretty confused. I have a KA24E and I'm in need of another timing chain cover.

Comparing pictures of them online, they look identical.
The KAs are identical on the bottom end so I'd imagine they'd be interchangeable. But I have no experience with that.

The upper one is going to be different for sure, since the valve cover is different. Like Razi said, I'd assume the lower one is the same because the KA blocks are the same.

On a side note, Razi WTF you have so many posts....
