Stillen doesn't make KA cams. Hard to tell you what an imaginary item will do. More research and taking the capslock off would be nice.

Looking at their website, it lists it as a U/G. To me this means Un-Ground. You may want to call them to get the specs. With the specs i could tell you how good they are.

tru, i will call them later on and get the specs for the cams, i see that you run the centerforce stage II, how do you feel about the ACT clutches, i was wandering if the 6 puck really was too rough for use on a street driven car..

According to the latest Import Tuner the Unorthadox Racing Pulley set makes 9hp at the wheels of a '96 240SX. its really up to you if you want to spend that amount for the hp, I'd say if your sticking with the KA and planning on doing a lot of performance work it might be worth the price.

I knew a guy that swears up and down that those pullies are horrible for the engine. He installed the unorthadox pully set and blew his motor 2 weeks later. He bought a new(used from a salvage yard but with 50,000 miles) and blew it up in less than 2 months. He went back to the old pullies and with a new salvage motor it has lasted, to the best of my knowledge, for about a year so far. He said it's something like the damper is gone and it vibrates too bad at high rpm and makes his spin a bearing. But then again, that is just what he said, I never seen the motor or anything.

In short, the underdrive pulleys are a Bad Idea.

I've heard both sides of the fence. I've got a UR pulley with a Stillen flywheel, 3 years with no problems. I beat on it hard everyday.

i know that early on the UR pullyes had problems with wearing throught and leaking but that has since been taken care of actually i think they redesigned the pully itself awhile back, so if your friend had that kind of problem it was most likely with the first production run of the pullyes..
