Are the Silvia K's front brakes and improvement over stock

Ths Silvia K's clip I had came with the K's brakes. The caliper is bigger, anybody know if there is a noticeable improvement for these. I already threw out the rotors cuz they were shot, anyone know which rotors I would get as replacement? So if my engine came from a K's does that make it better? Basically I don't know what the K's and Q's are about.

try the 240 section, there was a thread about this like a couple weeks ago asking the exact same question in here.
