I'm actually going to do a complete Hicas delete (solenoid, lines , the whole 9 yards) the Z1 motorsports kit was like 600 something i was like

But luckily my coworker/buddy bought an N/A Z32 reman pump off a running car, now there is a story behind why he bought an NA pump. he has an RB20det in his s13 and he doesn't have power steering ...the car didn't come with P/S pump anyway the reason he bought an NA pump was because i took the pump off my engine (HICAS pump) and see if it fitted in his bracket and guess what i believe me and him have found a shocking discovery for the rb20det P/S shortage pump dilemma. That thing fit right in snug only thing is pump is reversed (like flipped in a mirror since now the pump sits on the driver side of the engine) anyway he went to buy a NA pump without me knowing thinking it was the same but it weighing less, nope didnt work with the NA so he's stuck with it but i was thinking maybe this is a sign to do the complete Hicas delete (Powertrain is still out the car) Well anyway i made a deal with him i told him to buy the NA reservoir and hose, the bracket with all the screws, and the pump he bought for 65 and i will trade my Hicas pump he said yes so all i have to buy is the Hicas bar.

Now after all that my question is this, are all Hicas delete bars the same quality?

I like Z1's cause of the logo on it so when i lift up the car at work people will see it

Or is the powertrix one or any other one out there made better, let me know i want to buy the right one and look good on the car (Remember my build maybe a slow one but im putting the Right stuff in it not Cheap AMS crap)

I'm sure all the bars are different quality, different type of material and so on. You can never go wrong with powertrix stuff, well worth the price IMHO. There was a member on here that installed a Top Speed eliminator and has not posted anything bad. here is a link....

I have the SPL hicas delete, very legit but a pain to install. I also did a complete elimination using a NA pump, NA reservoir, bracket ect.

My vehicle came with a blue hicas delete bar, but I have been unable to find it so far online. Is it a decent one, or bad quality?

I have to check if my Hicas was deleted. My hicas light was on when i last drove the car, and never noticed the rear wheels turning, even slightly.

Im assuming as long as you cant easily bend the bar prior to installation, and it fits secure and tight, it should be okay. i haven't read anything negative about any Hicas bar, except that you may lose the power steering warning light depending on how you delete the system...iirc.

Do you have a picture of it? Maybe it's a known brand just powder coated? Maybe it's an eBay generic?
