Besides beating 'da Cowboys, which might have made 90% of the country chuckle, I understand the last time Detroit won their 1st 4 games consecutively was back in 1980. I think it's great to see teams that were all but written off by the press do so well.

The Redskins and Bills are also good news stories.

Yes! didnt they come back and win the game? I was happy when I heard that news although I was unaware that the Lions were 4-0. That is most surprising. Glad to see a change in the lineup though with bad teams doing good, and good teams doing bad

As for the Skins, we are doing good. We are 3-1 by the end of the first qtr of the season. Not bad if you ask me considering the last 2 years. It should have been 4 wins if it wasnt for that dam stupid fumbled field goal against the cowgirls. Looks like the curse still lingers..

This is one of the two weeks per season I will actually root for the Eagles. They
're playing the Dallas Cowboys.

Plus getting caught stealing the other teams signals.... :chuckle:

But I think the Pats are too good to stay down for long. I think they'll break out very soon.

Buffalo fan, it's very nice to see this team winning and scoring loads of points. Plus beating the Patriots was very nice to see.

Not sure, put up a good fight but lost to my 49ers, then lost to Falcons following week. Put up yardage vs. GB on Turkey day in first half, but couldn't score points before Packers ran away with it in 2nd half. Suh keeps getting penalized and fined, he's hurting his team and his own paycheck.

Packers are the team to beat this year. Aaron Rodgers is a beast! I'm kinda hoping they can pull some off some crazy shizz this year, it'd be really cool to see!

I think the Lions' season is screwed, I heard one of their players was going on tour with some musical troupe.

I got an early Xmas present, the Giants not only beat da Jets, making Rexie enjoy the agony of 'da feet, they automatically knocked the Eagles out of the playoffs. Of course I'm rooting for the Eagles to beat Dallas this afternoon, but next week: NY vs. Dallas, and winner wins the division. Very cool.

Apparently, good enough to be lowest seed in wildcard, but not good enough to stop the Saints.

Ha, yeah, the Saints did kick NY's butt that week, but the Giants defensive line is now finally healthy. I've love to see the G-men survive the frozen tundra of Lambeau field and get another shot at 'em.

Holy Tebow, what an exciting finish to the Saints-Niners game. They don't get much tighter than that.

Tell me about it, nearly lost my voice since Niners are my fav. team. I went from total depression when TE Graham made that TD catch, then insult to injury when he dunked the football over the goal post and punched the Niners logo afterwards...to total excitement, jumping up and down and screaming at the top of my lungs.

I watched all other games last weekend, but SF's winning TD was the most exciting since there were 4 lead changes in last 4 minutes.

It was a great game...I leaned over to my buddy (who is a 49ers fan) and said, "alex smith should've gone down on the 5"...he told me that's ridiculous and then low and behold, brees makes the impossible happen. He pretty much went through the same cycle of emotions you did, and it was funny to watch. I really can't say anything tho, because I was up on my feet cheering when tom brady set that playoff record...

49ers vs patriots in the superbowl

^That might be true. Im not sure if the Ravens has what it takes to bring home a Superbowl visit. They're a great team but I see the Pats scoring early like always and keeping the lead. But I would lobe to see an upset :) Hopefully Ravens defense can put up a fight to shut the Pats offense down.

Not sure whats ganna happen in the 49ers/Giants game, Ill just have to watch.

I know a lot of Niner fans wanna see Harbowl 2 (like the Thanksgiving game), but I don't. I wanna see a game like vs. Saints...a high-powered passing offense (Patriots) vs. a tough defense that can create turnovers (Niners). We'll see.

As for Giants vs. 49ers, I see it like this...

Giants > 49ers in passing
Giants < 49ers in rushing
Giants = 49ers in pass D (seems equal)
Giants < 49ers in rush D
Giants < 49ers in ST

To me, Niners have the edge in 3 of 5 of those categories. Should be a close game like their last match up though.

You were right, it was close. and good triumphed over evil. (j/k)
I like how the Giants match up with the Pats. Should be another close game.
