Can anyone confirm if the upgraded 20" oem wheel for the M is a forged material. Im guessing they are cast.

I highly doubt they are forged, but I don't know for sure. All the Nissan wheels I've seen that were forged say "FORGED" or "RAYS" on them, I guess Rays makes all their forged OEM wheels. The GT-R, Altima SE-R, and 370Z Sport Package are examples of that. I haven't seen any of those on any Infiniti wheel, not even those on the IPL G coupes.

Should be stamped somewhere on the wheel. Can be both on the front or in the back.

Don't think they are. Only Infiniti forged wheel I knew of was teh 19" on G35 Coupes. They are way lighter than the 20" I have.

I haven't had the chance to look at mine but I agree in that I highly doubt that they are.

I forgot about those G35 wheels, indeed they do say "FORGED" on them as well. As do the 350Z track wheels.

Has anyone removed one of the OE M 20" Sport wheels? Maybe you can tell by looking at the back of the spokes to see if they have a casting imprint.

I removed mine, but was at night on the side of the interstate, wasn't look at that time. They were just so heavy is why I believe they aren't. I'll try to look the next time I'm washing the car.

Truth is for those of you with the 20's you can probably just feel the back of a spoke. If you wrap your fingers around it (don't try it right after driving, lol) check if it feels rough. If so I'd say it's definitely cast, a forged wheel is usually smooth on the back of the spokes.

They're not forged. Infiniti would've advertised it on the spec sheets.
