Are the 03 6speed trannys that bad?

how will i know when the transmission is bad? is there anything i should hear or feel? someone let me know please!!!!! or should i just take it to the dealer and let them take a look at it?

Is yours actually doing something unusual?

It's probably not to be a common enough of problem to worry about in a paranoid way. It does seem clear that there was a higher frequency of issues with teh 03 model. If the transmission is working fine, you're good. If you notice an actual problem, take it in if it's still under warranty.

Well to me the transmission seems fine but i have been driving hondas since i started driving and the shifter fells kinda ruff when ur moving. the gears dont grind or anything and the clutch is really hard i have never befor e driven a g35 or 350z my firend who has said that the transmission felt wired and the clutch was harder then the one on his STI.
