Hello,

I'm finally in the market for some wheels and I think that I'm going to go with some JDM tyte 3-piece SSR's. 16x7 +25 and 16x8 +26. I was never a fan of staggered wheel sizes because I like to rotate my tires every few thousand miles.

Am I just being foolish or what? Any comments or helpful criticism would be worthwhile. I know I should have posted this in the Wheels and Tires forum, but no one seems to answer posts in a timely fashion!

Well, you know the bad part about not being able to rotate, so the rest is a question of can your wallet handle frequent tire replacement? If yes, then get them and be jdm

posts get answered just fine in that forum btw

if you plan on tracking your car, or racing, or anything to that effect, it would be better to get wider rims

if not, get 16 x 7 all the way around

You don't need wider rims for track use. It would not be better to get wider rims. For track you need competition compound tires. Those WILL hurt the wallet!

SmithSR,

It just occurred to me that your avatar looks like "the shocker"! Coincidence, or conspiracy......or am I just really slow?

Will 9" wide tires fit on a 240 and still look normal or is 8" the widest I should go? If 9's will fit, what is the recommended offset for it, around 25 or lower? I ask this because I was thinking of getting 9's in the back and 7's in the front for better traction since winter is coming up or am I being just retarded?

Also, what is the diff between FN01R and FN01R-C? I like the coloring of the FN01R's better, but the offsets are kinda weird. Would any of them fit a Zenki S14?
