ok for starters I have my intake manifold and want to use a aftermarket one for a RB26DETT will it work with my RB25DET? also what other parts are swappable? like valve cover maybe? injectors? fuel rail? heads? I am completely clueless when it comes to nissan, I am a subaru guy. I really don't feel like tearing into this thing just yet but I would like to know what fits.

ok i meant to write that i HATE my intake manifold not have! and I hate it because it sits directly over the turbo and it gets hot as hell, my incoming air temp has got to be through the roof!

This topic has been covered before. So a full answer can be achieved through some searching.

For a quick fix...

The intake manifolds between the two do not interchange, unless making a custom adapter to suit.

The most common and pain free way of dealing with getting your intake manifold out of your way is to go with a Greddy unit, http://shop.rawbrokerage.com/p...Id=53

The exhaust manifolds or turbo manifolds can be adapted with either using an adapter or by modifying two of the 6 exhaust port flanges to suit the bolt configuration differences.

Valve covers swap over, however, to achieve the proper fitment of the front timing belt cover you'll need to swap the rear timing belt cover. (RB26 Valve covers will not work with a stock RB25 intake manifold, unless modifying it)

There are many parts that can interchange to achieve different results such as using RB26 parts to stroke your RB25 to a 2.7L. Timing belts are the same between the engines along with a few other bits. Fuel rails will need modifying, but there are fuel rails for RB25's. etc etc etc.

Hope that gets you on the right track for searching..

Good Luck

Don't mind what other people say I appreciate the help, also if you know of any other web sites that would be great, I am just trying to do it right my subie was done right so i am not about to start and half @$$ something now. I know you sell greddy but is there anyone else that makes a good one, i seen the ones for the RB26 and those look similar to a magnus on of a 4G63. Are those better? or is the greddy one the standard?

Greddy is the standard and about the only readily available manifold. Also if you are purchasing you should purchase from coolwhip, he's a sponsor and people like him keep this forum alive.
