I'm driving my 2005 with over 100,000 miles; of course I look at the newer Muranos around and i'm thinking they look smaller? One passed me recently I think a o9 or 10 and I thought it was a Rogue at first!! I thought about trading for a newer model and a few miles on it but I love my big black baby! Any thoughts on the newer models ? what about the JUKE?! I hate the name!

Not that I can tell. I have an '09 and it looks very close in size to the earlier model Muranos that I also test drove.

Are you sure you are not looking at a Rogue? Their shape is so similar to the Murano (even to the back window shape) that sometimes I can only tell by the "Rogue" badge on the back or the painted grill on the front (vs the Murano's chrome grill).

What is the "JUKE"?

The 09/10 have less cubic area in the truck. I can't remember the difference, but the newer model is smaller in the trunk area.

Exactly, that's what I thought. I was going to go to the internet and check the spcs . I guess i know my model well, just looking at the two you can see the difference from the rear especially. Just traded for a 2007 with low mileage; an SL, a step up from my other.

About an inch longer and an inch taller. Same wheelbase, and about 121 pounds heavier, but also have about 25 more HP than 1st gen.
