hey guys, i just got my first 240 (sohc) and its doing 3000 rpms in 5th gear to do 70 on the highway. is this normal? if not anything i could do to take care of that? it has the stock s13 rims so i dont think its cuz of super small wheels or anything.

yea thats normal, speed limits 65 so your rpms should be around 2700-2800, i dont like traveling fast in our cars the rpms are like 4000 at 85 and that doesnt look to good for the engine, considering you were traveling that like an hour or so, plus it gets my tappets ticking after that.
