Well as I have stated in other posts, my rebuilt KA-E has had idle issues for some time. I recently got a hold of an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to keep the Walbro pump in check. The fpr is an OBX unit, adjustable not rising rate, with a liquid filled pressure gauge on loan from a friend to see if this helps me in any way. The fpr was installed on an Eclipse that is down for an overhaul and was working fine until the crank took a walk. I will be using this until I can get a Nismo or B&M unit in a few weeks.

Here is my question: Where does the fpr line in?Does it go on after the fuel filter or does it go in before the return line to the fuel tank? I have searched fruitlessly, and will attempt a few more combos before I hit the sack.

I am concerned that I may have accidentally crossed the lines when I did some work to the engine last year. help.

Thanks for the input guys. Something about the way the lines are laying just did not seem right. My lines are in fact correct, and the fpr has been installed. Finally, one more question. I see no reason to start a new thread.Does the distance from the rail affect the performance of the regulator at all? Due to the size and general bulk of the regulator with gauge installed I placed it on the firewall about where the heater core resides. The line from fuel rail to regulator is about 13" or so. I plan to run a proper braided line when I install the new unit in a couple of weeks. Just curious.
