From my view, the appearance of the spoilers for the models are the same. However, are the components that have to get switched out, such as the trunk springs, compatible? I ask because there is an OEM I35 spoiler kit on craigslist (looks like it was ordered from a dealer but never installed) and I'd like to get it to install on my 2000 I30. Thanks! :)

Everything on both cars are completely identical, aside from the tail lights(which are very similar) and center piece on the trunk. The spoiler should work just fine with no issues.

Ok, thanks! When I get it I'll just have to get it painted. Since the spoiler is black but my I30 is white. $80 a good price for a complete kit (spoiler, all hardware including the springs, instructions)?

I'd say so for a factory one, seems like a good deal. These guys offer one for $99 unpainted and $204 painted to match though: http://www.customautotrim.com/spoilers/ ... i30/wg761/

Might want to get a quote on painting it, since it may be cheaper and easier to order it already painted from somewhere like that ;)

Well I have a little rust in the rear wheel wells so my dad is taking it to his friend's body shop to get that fixed. And since he has to mix the paint anyway once the rust is ground off, I'll get the spoiler painted then.
