Are front and rear the same?

I have a 2000 GLE Maxima and someone told me the wheels cannot be rotated, any truth 2 this. He said they different in the spacing on the backside.These r stock wheels and I just wanted 2 check first b4 i tell him he is coco loco. thank u kindly 4 your help.

factory rims are all the same. Now, if you have directional tires that would mean you can't do a "X" tire rotation, but that is all.
