I just bought Eibach springs yesterday and will be lowering those once I get the 245/45/18's on. Now I'm wondering are endlinks a necessity or just simply another upgrade? Like when I lower my car will end links be the first to go, then eventually struts? Honestly I'm not a HUGE handling type of guy so if I don't need it, I won't get 'em. The only extra suspension mod i MAY get however, is the front strut bar.

Also, anyone down in Socal, perferably LA area, that is experienced in lowering cars or has lowered their AC and willing to give me a hand? :) Of course, I wouldn't sit on my a** and watch, I'd like to help you since it would be a fun learning process.

Dont need it dont get it,

Eibach springs + Rear Sway on Tight = golden.

I had my front strut before all else and honestly felt no difference...

so if youre a "however may go" go rear sway.

Really. See, when I searched, there are people who seem to always combine rear sway bar with with rear end links as if they HAD to go together. Sorry, I'm not going to lie, out of all the cars I've owned, this is my first time ever lowering a car. So I'm a little new to it :ohno:

Lowering your car with springs or coilovers increases the strain on other suspension components. When upgraded, the endlinks provide further support and adjustability in the event that you need it.

And thats exactly what I'm afraid of. But will 1.4'' drop REALLY put that much strain on struts/end links/etc.?

I wouldn't worry about it so much on Eibachs. Almost certainly I would recommend them on coilovers if you slam it.

I have Eibach's, and I didn't replace anything in the suspension. There are no problems, just some minor noise when going over speed bumps or when turning the wheels all the way

I read about the noises and someone was mentioning the cause of the noise was that the springs were installed upside down. The noise went away after he Turned them rightside up. Does this ring a bell to anyone?

Ok I just checked the springs and they actually don't have the logos on them. Instead they have little paint dabs on there to mark which side should go up I'm assuming. Is that like how the old eibachs were?

Maybe you have a way newer set. My eibach springs are litteraly from 2008. So maybe they might of fixed the issue by now

Well to be honest with you (and this is probably gonna raise a few eye brows) I bought these used. I should probably check the eibach box it came in to see when it was manufactured.
