Its not based off someones opinion at all. To be a VIP car it has to be one of the few VIP platforms Q45, GS450etc. and it has to carry the distinct look and stance. What you are saying is more recognized as VIP style not true VIP. Something having VIP style is totally different then it being a VIP car. There is a standard in the VIP look and having carbon fiber fenders painted to match your car will not affect that standard as long as it achieves the right look. There are some very nice VIP body kits that are made of strictly carbon fiber.
