Are cam gears really worth the effort on the SR?

I was just wondering whether or not adjustable cam gears are worth the hassle. I know the 4G63 is renown for gaining decent amounts of power from them. And I want to know how responsive the SR20DET is to them.

The SR does benefit from the usage of cam gears.

Pretty much any engine can make usage of them, especially turbocharged ones.
