forgive my question is it sounds stupid, i have never seen a KA24 really, (only in a friends pathfinder) and i was looking through carparts.com and see that they list the KA24E oil pump for the NX pulsar CA18DE, is there a chance that the two are hte same??

can anyone check, just curious.

No man, they are not the same; not even remotely close. Had to be a misprint.

have to agree with boost boy on this., not even close. perhaps they got the stanza and pulsar listings mixed up? KA24E is driven off of a gear that also drives the distrubitor by means of a shaft that connects the two. CA oil pumps are mounted directly on the crankshaft.
