Yep...I have RB coil packs on my CA18....all you need to do is chop and change the plugs to fit the CA loom

anyone know of any kind of power upgrade to help give the spark plugs a hotter cleaner spark? Since we have coil packs, MSD kits arent really available to us. Has anyone come up with any solutions for this?

you can use HKS, AEM and other systems for Direct Fire Ignition systems, and MSD makes the DIS-2 and DIS-4 for direct fire ssytems like ours as well, you can also upgrade your coils to split fire ones for the RB or use 4 coils from MSD or others (electromotive has some nice ones)

I honestly can't see the need for any kind of ignition upgrade. At least not until you are running tons of boost and making oodles of power.

True, but who would argue with a better spark. It can't harm anything and it'll only help. As long as the piece that creates the better spark isn't in the hundreds of dollars

all ignition system upgrads are atleast a couple hundred dollars, even the bottom of the line msd 6a is a couple hundred, so your pretty much screwed in that department. but if you can find another car, thats common in junk yards, that has a decent coil, you could adapt 4 of those maybe.
