Are all the KA the same? Altima , 240sx , Pathfinder , Pickup?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I know most of the ppl's on here got a 240, but I wanted to know the differents between them The KA on these car Altima , 240sx , Pathfinder , Pickup. are all the KA24DE the same thing? internal wise? what about the MAF? another stuff?

Think ther are little diffs but nothing to mager i think i am sure someone knows for sure

im sure the cam profiles are different depending on the car...

well that and MAYBE CR dont think so tho. Valve cover is diff too

The truck has a different intake mani, but the internals are the same depending on the years your comparing. The head and cams should all be the same.

Naaa the head is a litttle diff from the S13 to the S14 like water passes and ther less valve cover bolts.

Actually there are allot of variations

The distributors and valve covers are different from model to model,Internally there are variations as well: in Bore x Stroke and Compression Ratio Altima and Xterra have 9.2 while the 240sx has 9.5 and the Frontier 8.9.There are also differences in the Fuel Induction some are SFI others MFI

Hey this gives me an idea…if your are boosting your KA24DE you can get Frontier pistons (for dirt cheap) which are lower Compression therefore better for a turbo…

They shouldn’t be…I would call the dealer and see if the part number is different

But would the fronter pistons be stronger. Cuz you also need them stronger to handle alot of boost like in the 300. But still nobody has found wher the stock block just gives out ether
