I just bought a 1989 240sx with a 91 ka24de in it. It was a good friend of mine s 240, and i was helpping him retime the chain on it. well i went to work and some retarded friend of his said he would help only to time it wrong and broke 2 valves. so we got a new cylinder head from another 240sx but when i put it on mine and turned the motor it stop it from turning any more only to find out that the cam is different and i only have the sprockets from the 91. so the question is there any difference in the cylinder heads or the timing sprockets. thanks

90-94 ka24de heads are the same. 95-96 are the same. 97-98 are the same. 95-96 is the best imho because you can run the s13 (91-94) cams in it with out having to worry about the rear oil gallies. Timing sprockets are the same through out 90-98.
