Are 4th gen and 5th gen knuckles the same?

My hub and bearing were completley done on my 5th gen maxima. So i ordered some new ones, took the knuckle off, and dropped it off at the shop for them to press the new bearing and hub into the knuckle. They said the knuckle was cracked from the axle grinding against it, and i would need a new one. The cheaper solution is obviously to get a used one in good condition from a junkyard.

I wanted to do this in the first place for the hub and bearing, and made a thread here asking if 4th and 5th are the same, but nobody responded. The reason im asking is because all the junkyards here have a ton of 4th generation maximas, but 5th generations are extremley rare. If i can use the knuckle from a 4th gen without any modifications on a 5th generation maxima, i would save a ton of money.

Does anybody here know if the two are compatible?

Swore I replied to that thread. I don't believe he knuckles are interchangeable since the bearings are two different part numbers.

Hmm... that would make sense. The gayest part is that i need the front passenger side. If you look for maxima knuckles on ebay, they have both sides for the A32 and A34, but for the A33 they ONLY have the drivers side... seriously wtf??

Have you tried a Pick-A-Part type junkyard? Or even LKQ.com? LKQ is an online junkyard.

The only junkyards ive been to are the pick and pull type where you take the part off the car and pay for it. None of those junkyards have A33s, A32s however are common, which is why im asking if they knuckles are the same.. but im guessing they arent.

I went to LKQ and they want $150 for it. A lot cheaper than the $280 it is for a new one.. but still a bit pricey

If i have to thats what ill get, but i was just wondering if anybody knows where i can get it cheaper
