I just bought a 2005 G35x AWD sedan. I'm looking to get 20" deep dish chrome wheels (maybe staggered if I can) put on since 19" are way more expensive than 20" (wheels and tires). What is a good tire setup to go with without issues with 3 passengers? Are there really any tire size differences or limits between coupe and sedan? What should I do? Don't want to mess with suspension and don't want to affect AWD, and don't want to ruin the ride too much. HELP!!

20" is too much but that is just my opinion. I got 18" on my 2003 sedan and the rear camber is now at -2. I'm thinking that bigger wheels will probably effect it even more. I like my camber where it is at though so luckily I don't have to buy any new suspension parts. Also, if you get staggered wheels you can't rotate your tires so I wouldn't recommend doing that unless money is not an issue. You can find some types of wheels that have different size lips so that you get the staggered look but then if you rotate them it will look backwards so it's all just a matter of opinion on what you want to do. I know Axis wheels has some that have different sized lips on the same width wheel. Best of luck on your decision. I'm not an expert, again this is just my opinion.

IF YOURS IS AN AWD THEN ALL FOUR WEELS/TIRES SHOULD BE SAME SIZE.I HAVE ON MY SEDAN 255/50 R18 IN THE REAR. THIS LOWERS THE RPM BY ABOUT 7%, SMOOTHS THE RIDE BY A LOT AND IMPROOVES CORNERING.THE FRONT HOWEVER IS STANDARD 235/45 R18.FOR AN AWD I WILL KEEP ALL OF THEM SAME SIZE OTHERWISE YOUR CENTER DIFFERENTIAL (IF IT HAS ONE), WILL BE WORKING OVERTIME.IF THERE IS NO CENTER DIFF. YOU WILL WARE ONE PAIR OF TIRES MORE THAN THE OTHER.

Punisher has 22" on his sedan. It looks great but I wouldn't go that big. 19-20 would be top. If you do a little search on Nico you'll find his 22" to compare. 20" wheels are usually cheaper. AWD keep the tire sizes same(front -back).

Damn, that's nice but crazy. There's almost no meat on those tires. I live in washington DC area and roads are some bull**** over here.

Also, are all the wheel & tire fitment specs on the 07 sedan the same as my 05 sedan??

I've made up my mind to get 20" wrapped in 245-35-20's. I've checked about 20 sites and that's the size they recommend, and even more flesh than the local rim shop's recommended 245-30-20.

If you are performance oriented in any way, you will not put anything bigger than 19's on. To me, 20's are bigger are for show, period.

Another good reason to go with 20.

I live close to you. I was wanting 20's also but the road around here are pretty bad, they are always doing construction.. so i decided to go with 19's. Good luck with your choice.

Kaz, did you decide? I see this started 3 months ago.If not, check your local pot holes and fillings first before going to 20's.
