Are #2 and #6 runners identical?

I'm having trouble sourcing another lower #6 runner. Already cracked two of them because something isn't lining up right. For some reason the #6 seems to be the hardest of any to find (like on eBay, they have EVERY one listed except #6).

For the sake of time, I got to thinking. Isn't the #2 lower runner identical aside from the number on the runer? It seems like I could flip it 180 degrees and it would fit just like the #6. If anyone has their lower runners off and can compare I'd appreciate it. Or if anyone had a #6 they can sell me that would work too.

When you get the new one make sure you follow the fsm procedure for tightening them down. It's pretty critical for everything to line up properly.

Send you an email...thanks Steve.

I had thought I had done everything in the FSM correctly as far as temporarily installing the upper plenum to line up the lower runners but something hasn't been lining up right. I will be more careful this time but I also need to check and make sure my plenum isn't warped (fat chance, but possible I guess).

Try installing everything without those rubber ring gaskets in between on a dry run. That will allow you to see exactly what's going on between the upper and lowers.
