Are 17x8 and 17x9's to big

Are 17x8 in the front to big and 9's in the rear.. this would be on a 96 s14?? with like 225 in the front and 245 in the rear?

but since Im not in a mean mood:That setup should be fine, if you wanted, you could even run a 235-40-17 and a 255-40-17, or 235-45-17 and 255-40-17. if you are racing, I would keep the setup you had, 225 and 245. make sure your offset(especially on the front) is sufficiently low(30mm or under preferably) to make sure you dont have any scrubbing issues(especially if you have coilovers).

there ya go.-chetedit: the rear offset can be like +33 or so if you like. you have much more suspension clearance in the rear.

i have 17x8 front and 17x9 rear 235/45 frotn and 255/40 rear. front offset is 37mm i belive and rear is 43mm i belive. they fit great fronts prob wouldnt clear coilovers tho
