i have been wondering what they were doing at that pond for a while now. it's been drained for a long time, and the "cradle" that the screw sits in has been completed for a few weeks now. very interesting and i can't wait until it's done so i can get an up close and personal look at it operating.

800kW is nothing to sneeze at.

It would be nifty if they could miniaturize it for home personal use. Like if you have a stream running through your back yard that you want to take advantage of.

Go check out the installation, I'm sure it will be way cool. I like big projects like this a lot. I guess it's too late to take a skateboard over there now?
