I have a question i wanted at the beginning to buy a FMIC most likely the Greddy VSPL but now i have second doubts on money issues. There is someone selling a ARC SMIC. I am going to run a stock redtop set up. Maybe a upgraded clutch... not much more. How much boost will that give the stock turbo? And should i buy it to run my motor? shouldent there be minimal lag maybe even no lag at all?

Thanks guys in advance.

What? A intercooler doesnt give the turbo any more boost just cools the air... Cooler air means more HP...

If you cant afford a fmic, I'd get an upgraded sidemount. Especially if you are going to increase boost in the texas heat. The stock turbo spools quick enough that i doubt you would really notice any increase in lag.

I understand it doesent give more boost. but with a FMIC you can up the boost with a boost controller. With a SMIC it is limited unlike a FMIC. Well has anyone heard how well a ARC edition runs?

Even a FMIC is limited to boost based on the design and build. Ive seen some FMIC that are max boost 15 psi... It all depends on who makes it and how well they make it.
