Apps you can't live without...

After trying to contact Nissan, i was told there is no way to add your favorite app to Nissan Connect.

Maybe with some input from us here, they will change their minds (and the programming of that feature)

The one app i'd really like to see added is Waze.
Waze allows for it's users to input anytime they see a live police trap (checkpoint, speed trap, whatever....) shows red light cams, speed cameras, and updates traffic instantly. Since it's members use GPS as part of the program, it's always up to date, and the best part, it's FREE!!

You would be better off getting a radio that does everything you want. I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for Nissan to add apps.

i appreciate the suggestion, but i was trying to stick with what i have...at least until the warranty is over ;-)

I have a 2009, no touchscreen available.

Waze is a nice app, although I find it takes up too many resources on the phone and slows it way down. I always look at an overview of google maps whith traffic on before I go drive somewhere to decide which highway to take.
