Hi all,

I have a 2011 M37x White with 105k miles. I purchased in 2012 with under 40k miles. I am the 2nd owner. I haven't had any major maintenance, just regular scheduled maintenance items at the dealer.

My concern is my extended warranty expires at 118k miles. Should I plan to trade before the warranty expires?

Any high mileage M37 owners with good or bad maintenance experiences?

I know they are different cars, but we have a 2012 G37 Convertible also and it cost $12k to replace the roof motor that was covered under the Elite warranty. I am concerned about a high cost repair on the M37 after the warranty expires.

Maybe it's time for an upgrade.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. I've been out of warranty on my 2011 for the last 20kmi or so and my 07 was out of warranty for like 60kmi and had no issues. These cars, if you maintain them properly (like most cars) will run a good long while.

That being said, these cars can be expensive to repair IF something goes wrong (hell, a few of us have shorted our interiors out trying to install LED bulbs - warranty covered $5k in repair for me)...but being Japanese and a Nissan product, my bet would be on it running fine for a long time...unless you got a lemon.

Personally, I plan to keep my car as long as the drivetrain holds up and doesn't become a losing proposition to repair.

Also, moving your thread to the proper section (you posted in the older M section).
