Not sure if this is proper to post here, but i'm not selling for sure yet. Let me know what you think I can sell my car for. I might ebay it or put it on craigslist. Currently no job and can't afford a rebuild so I'm selling to get something RWD of course, but that doesnt use oil. I will get another 240 again though.

Here is a list of parts and where I spent money, I'm sure I left lots of other things out as well.

----------------------1989-----240sx-----SE-----------------------

1. shaftmasters 1pc alum. lightweight driveshaft-$3202. F1 aluminum lightweight flywheel-$1953. ebay hotshot 4-2-1 copy header-$904. arp head studs-$1005. ait racing gp bodykit-$4756. nismo motor and trans mount set-$1507. Did 1995 ka24de engine swap, harness ecu about-$5008. enkei rsv 17" rims/kumho tires and locking lugs-$8009. cross drilled/slotted rotors-$10010.Cold air metal piping and filter-$5011.Ebay 3" catback exhaust-$12512.ebay f/r strut braces and subframe brace kit-$6013.Ebay fender braces-$9014.New rear struts-$10015.replaced rear hatch without rust-$10016.exedy oem clutch and pressure plate-$10517.New front rigid tension rods-$6018.swapped 232/232 cams for 240/248 altima cams-$4019.New silicon rad hoses-$5020.?

I originally paid $900 for the car and the last owner just drove it with little care for routine maint. There is really no part on this car that hasn't been fixed or replaced that slightly even needed it. All kinds of front end work. 1 new wheel bearing, new ball joints, new tie rods, tension rods, new rear struts, rebuilt rear brake calipers, brake pads new, lots of misc junkyard trim parts and anything that was missing/broke.

I can say really the only thing wrong with this is the kade burns a lot of oil and needs a ring job, the rear defrost needs soldered, paint and some more bodywork and fiberglass work.I did not use zip ties on the body kit it is bolted on with lots of hours getting the thing to fit. Just a few zipties for engine harness wires here and there. Nothing on this is rigged or half arsed either. The driver side frame was rusted, but not through or anything like that. Not nearly as bad as you usually see on these things. it just needed one of the three sides of the rail repaired just to be safe.

This car is my daily with 170k on the car and the ka24de had 120k was rebuilt when i bought the motor. The last owner didn't do the best rebuild on it, so I took it down and checked all the clearances and torqued everything. Bores were decent rings aligned properly, but unfortunately it burns oil.Compression numbers were all around 170 something but cyl 3 had about 161psi which is the oil burner.

Sounds like you'd be better off just rebuilding the engine again. I plan to drive my S13 into the damn ground.

add two zeros and Ill think about it. I guess I could offer it up for trade. who knows I keep changing my mind. The only other car I even want is a 3000gt or a mk3 supra lol. I would take out a loan for a rebuild, but you need a job to do that.

Well once again I cant come around to selling this thing. I think I will keep my mind set on keeping it for good. I just hate not being able to drive it due to oil consumption, but I'll just drive occasionally until I can rebuild it and bore .020 over. Then someday with a job I will buy another block and take my time to ka24det it! It sucks because I just got a ticket going 79 in a 50 lol, well there goes my insurance rates. I better be extra careful for awhile.

1600?

My Opinion going by the 6 240's ive owned. for one example, i bought my completely stock 92 240 SE hatch 5spd 165kmi. in MINT condition inside and out for 2k.

My 90 hatch with blown ka-e but came with a kade on a pallet. with PBM coilsovers for 900...

it depends on what you find every situation is differnt. id say sell the 1pc get sotck drive shaft and some lowering springs to make it look better stance wise then paint? thats just me
