"Good" is totally subjective. The damping is not adjustable. The ride height is. This is why they are called "Affordable." If you're just looking to keep up with what your buddies have, this might not be the coilover for you.:rolleyez The World Sports are designed to be more comfortable than stiff settings on compression/rebound adjustable coilovers.

I think it's a poor decision to buy something based solely on what your friends are or are not using. Such levels of adjustability is a bit of overkill for a street car anyways.

World Sports suck. If you wanted to be different from your friends why didn't you get a different car? Tein HE, and HA are a much better coilover.

I think they are a good option for a daily driver. I've found them for $780 shipped (new) which is about the same price as good springs/shocks that wouldn't be adjustable.

Does anyone know what the spring rates for the world sports are?

(hmm... 5 posts, looks like I'm not driving mom's car anymore)

to the guy who said that WS coilovers suck, have you ever driven in a car with them?

I recently put them on my car, and they're 100x better than stock. Sure they're not 30 way adjustable, but they do their job, and they're better than a spring/shock setup.

I say, if you're on a limited budget, don't waste your time with springs/shocks, just get these coilovers, my car feels incredible, it feels like it could almost hold the road as well as my dad's '93 R1 with HKS coilovers installed and track tuned.

the spring rates are 7.5kg/mm front and 4kg/mm rear for the S14 and maybe 6.5 in the front for an S13, but im not sure(ive got an S14)

I am having to make this decsion myself. All my buddies have HEs as well, but they all semi-comptetively drift. I want a car that I can drive everyday and enjoy, and MABYE drift/autox every once in a while. The HEs are nice, but for $1300...no way. I am planning on getting Nismo S-Tune or Tein Basic myself. If you plan on racing your car more than 3-4 times a year, mabye HEs or N1s are for you. Daily driver that sees little action? A basic coilover setup is just fine...

I considered(and am still considering) the WS for my own car, dennis kalman runs the WS on his car, and it feels great...even for autocross use. mixed with sway bars, it sets the car up much like a sock m3 or the like, stiff enough for light track use, but not so stiff to cause daily driveability problems.

If you're on a budget, and dont want a AGX+spring setup, its a nice choice...

so is the tein BASIC, but I havent gotten much feedback on those.-chet

WOuld AGX/Springs be a more trackable setup? The other option I am personally looking at is AGX and either Tein S-Tech or R*SR.

the agx can be adjusted pretty stiff, so for track adjustability, it would be better, paired with the RS*R it may HAVE to be set pretty stiff, as the RS*R race springs are stiff..

the s-tech AGX setup is a popular autocross choice.-chet

I have the WS coilovers and they really are a billion times better than stock. The price that most places are asking of around 1100 is insane though and I would definately get the HEs for that price or the tein basic for around 800. My next mods were gonna be sway bars, bushings and an lsd. if you get a good price on the WS, they really are a good deal. (plus the car looks awsome low)
