How come no one uses the Apexi BOV? I've never seen it being used ever. According to the tests in SCC I believe, it had the fastest response and had an adjustable outlet to control noise as well as ejected air.

Just curious, as I was looking at possibly using one for my future turbo setup.

I don't have it yet, but I'm planning to go that route as well. I read that SCC article too and that was what persuaded me to choose them.

I was thinking about running the Apexi TC or the Turbo smart one with the Dual Horns (Its like the RFL only it has two horns, one on either side). I have an SSQV but everyone has that one so I dont want it anymore.

Yeah, that looks the Turbo smart bov, or something along those lines. Nice set-up on that ka-t , looks real clean.

That's the exact one I was thinking of running. Your setup is very nice. Looks like you're making good numbers too. I have a question for you though, where is the hose from your PCV running?

Actually, here is the exact BOV I am looking at. it's very similar to the one above but a bit different.

That's the weirdest looking boost controller that I've seen. That A'pex i bov is sooo I'll be happy when I get my own!

Actually it's a boost controller with a fail safe actuator. For instance if my Vacuum line pops off my WG or something of that sort, I'm automatically set to 0 boost so no harm is done. That boost controller came as an extra when I ordered the WG from Tial and that's how they explained it to me heh.

its pretty much stock. all it has is intake, headers, exhaust and coil-overs. much slower than the s14 but just as fun to drive.

Sounds cool, I'd probably drive the kouki more too if I were in a similar situation. That actuator device is pretty trick imo; albeit you may not use it depending on how much you plan to be boostin. I'd be interested in something like that or perhaps even a DIY version.
