I'm reading the manual for my new Apexi turbo timer and it says "Caution! Vehicles that cannot use the A/F function..." it lists the RPS13/180sx/sivlia on there. It then says that cars that can't use the auto idle feature are any cars that can't use the A/F feature....so what's going on? I have a redtop SR20...is this saying that I can't use this thing? I'm utterly confused!

EDIT: It says it can't use those functions with a car that has a Titanium Type O2 sensor, which includes the cars listed above....am I retarded? I don't understand!!!

When all else fails, hook up your ignition, and your parking brake. Thats all you need to have your turbo timer work. Everything else is just worthless (ie: rpm, speed, 1/4 mile time, etc).

i didn't even hook up my handbrake, not even sure why its needed !

If your running CA, A/F works fine.. mines hooked up, and my friends hooked it up on their SRs, although no-one here has a KA, so i wouldn't have a clue.

the hand brake hookup is an anti-theft device. If somebody gets into the car while the turbo timer is running the motor it will shut off the motor as soon as the parking brake is released. When it says that it can't use the auto idle function is it referring to some function at startup, or the actual timer part? I don't need it to tell me the A/F or anything special. Just need a god damn timer! Yes or no, does it work with an SR?

I have it hooked up on my redtop and it works fine... the only thing that wont work will be the a/f and the o2 sensor voltage.

Hmm, a few guys here have it hooked up on thier SRs and they work.. maybe it's just a few that ran them..
