Apexi Tuner in miami needed

Like it says. I am in desperate need of someone in the South Florida area that can re-tune an Apexi Power FC on an S13 SR20DET Blacktop. Tried asking friends of mines but they all use E-manage, or pre-tune ecu's, and since the wondeful people at Apex'i only give their info on tuning the FC to subscribing shops, I'm finding there aren't too many people that really know how to tune it. Let me know if you know of any shop or person that can help me out, thanks.

Me and my buddy know how to tune the Power FC on the street. I mean it would be easier if we had a dyno but street tune works fine. We are investing in the Power FC Box so we can data log everything.

Theres plenty in florida: rs enthalpy, enjuku racing or mazworx can easily do it. Its pricey though, expect to spend roughly 600-800.

I know of them, but their all up in Tampa and Orlando, I prefer someone in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale/West Palm Beach/Homestead area. I know, sounding picky but I just wanna find all my options first before taking a 800mile there and back trip.

1. If I did deceide to go up there, who would be the better choice? I'm going for the most economical on gas with the most power I can get out of it, (around 320-380whp)

2. How long does it usually take to tune?

Those are the only reputable shops I can think of right now. Any of them is good, in your case, whoever is closet or available to tune your car. It should take about 3-5 hours. Do you mind telling your set-up?

youre gonna max out the injectors and wont make more than 330whp with stock internals

I saw a dyno from the previous owner. It pulled about 350whp at 16psi. Supposedly he had tuned it, but right now its running rich and bogging with an erratic idle. Which kept making me want to bring it to be re-tuned. But the other day I found the bov was leaking like crazy at idle, so I'm gonna replace it and see where it goes from there. For some reason I have a feeling I'm still gonna have to tune it though.

wat map are u running rite now, if its not apexi base map, if not, set it to it till u get it tuned

No idea what map its running. Supposedly was tuned in a shop up in New Jersey where the car was last.

Anyone that tunes can tune PFC. If they say they can't, they're ****ing idiots and shouldn't be tuning your car in the first place.

Martin at XAT would probably be your best bet at getting a PFC tuned in FL. He charges a flat rate and although pricey, he's pretty good with the PFC (and he has a datalogit so he won't be wasting time with your controller).

Load up an Enthalpy base PFC map if you're driving your car around.

Oh, if you want, I live in WPB and can help you out - just bring a 6-pack New Castle and we'll work on those idle issues.
