rip off of what? That is a nice intake system, you need to have a z32 maf to use it.

I have the SSIntake and It looks and performs wonderfully. I am using a MAP/IAT setup with no MAF and it puts the filter in just the right spot. I can send a pic if needed.

The map sensor goes right off the manifold pressure vac line and Apexi will be just the elbow to plate and then filter.

Shooting for over 400hp? Go with a Honeycomb style filter. Like the Trust/Greddy or an HKS. Generic ribbed filters will work fine up to 400hp after that they tend to choke that turbo a bit. I know this because I had a K&N filter and i gained roughly 8hp after 380 by swapping it for a Greddy.

What you gained in hp you also gained in dirt. They flow more air by having less filtration (unless yours was dirty/full ) and less filtration allows more dust into the intake effectively sandblasting the compressor wheel. Depending on how long you intend to keep the vehicle/turbo this might be acceptable for you. Look at most professional turbo motor builders and look at shat they use for filtration. By professional turbo motor builder I am talking Banks Engineering, Top Secret, Saurus, Tomei, even XS Engineering only use the foam filters for dyno runs and when on the track or street opt for finer filtration. Make no mistake this is not a flame just simply a note to be careful.

In regards to "pipingpro.com", DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! They don't provide a phone # or respond to emails. I purchased a simple intake pipe from the turbo to the MAF and it took them 2 months. And it was a piece of SH*T. I ordered the pipe with a Oil Catch Can nipple which it came with, but it also had a port that was welded shut and look crappy. This company could make great money, if they would provide any customer service and a better product.
