I have Just installed a new SR20DET in my 95/240This is not my first engine. The Motor is not the problem. My SAFC is Throttleing backward. At idle it registers 100% put your foot on the gas and it goes down.It started doing it b4 I put the new motor in.My old install was done by in July but I never recieved the instruction manual when the car came back from the shop. The company doesn't exist any moreThe old set up on the SAFC was only 5% more fuel at full throttle.I dyno'd at 265RWH and 275Torque with a 12.1 air/fuel ratio.Does anyone know how to fully tune a SAFC. I realize proper tuning can only be done at the dyno.I just want to make sure the settings right now don't blow anything up How do I reset it to factory specs

12:1 is safe... it's a bit on the rich side.

Re-check your wiring.

Hope it helps, they have tons of good pinouts for ECU's even if you don't have an SAFC.

I decided to remove the SAFC. one less thing to blow up my new motor.when I was removing the wires I noticed a red and white wire coming out of the white plug beside the ECU wasn't plugged in.Should it be plugged into the ECU somewhere? Also I cant get my idle down below 1200.I tried adjusting the screw on the intake. It brought it down from 1600 to 1200Is there somewhere else I can make an adjustment??CAS or on the ECU somewhere??

Sounds like your timing is advanced hardcore.

Re-time the engine, use the CAS to adjust the timing. The more retard, the lower the idle.

You can also check the cold start valve as well as the IACV for proper operation. They are known to act up.
