Here is my deal and i need to know if I should buy this or not..

I currently have a ka-t with the JWT ecu setup. According to this setup I can run from stock 7 psi to about ~15psi ( current fuel system limitations )Now as the maf starts to measure more and more air flow, the ecu will keep the injectors open longer to compensate for the added air flow.

NOW, does this afc unit have to be tunned to a specific pressure level thus keeping the EBC set at a certain point and cannot be touched..??ORDoes it work similiar to the jwt ecu where it will automatcially compensate as the air flow increases..??

I dont think it works like the jwt ecu, i think it has to be tunned for a specific pressure level then the boost controller has to be remained un-touched... but im not too sure thats why im asking u guys this...

I have an EBC and i wana have the ability to switch from LOW BOOST (daily driver) to HIGH BOOST ( when i thin i might need more power ). I know i can do this with the JWT setup, but i also wana fine tune the fuel curve for better performance and to help save some gas..

What r my options here on this AFC-II

ThanksRobert

The SAFC modifies the signal coming from the various engine sensors in order to fool the ECU into doing something other than what it "should" be doing, according to it's program.

So, if the incoming signal changes, it doesn't matter. It might not end up perfect, but the SAFC will change your A:F with higher boost on the same SAFC settings.

So basically:

If i have the afc set to do a -15% change in air flow at all allowable rpm points, it will do this regardless if the maf is flowing 25%, 50% or even 75% capacity..??
