That may be a further problem but I have problems with my electronic connection.

There are two contacts. One contact with three cables is connected to the Apexi ECU and the other contact have two cables. Where should the contact with two cables connect?

well the problem is solved now.

Yes the Power FC unit can also adjust the boost preassure in electronic way.You can install 4 different boost preassures

Hi Boda. I just received my PowerFC Pro and the FC Boost control unit, and I have the same exact problem as you mentioned with not finding a connection for th etwo pin connector from the solenoid... Can you help me out ? What did you do ? I see there is some info about cutting a cable in the jap manual, but no idea what they mean..

Hehe Apexi should translate their manuals to swedish/norweigan so we dont have this kind of problems

It is actually a pretty simple problem. You only change the solenoid from the wastegate.

I found an old picture in my s14a engine room and marked which solenoid should be changed. I dont really know how the engine bay looks like in a GTI-R but it cant be so much different except tighter

If you have more problems let me know.

lol...yeah...maybe we should start a nordic A'PEXi support centre... might give us some price advantages aswell..hehe

Thanks, not sure where the stock solenoid is, and I've got a blitz controller installed at the mo.. I'll have a look..

but if I get you right, there is a plug on the stock solenoid that will match the two pin connector on the A'PEXi solenoid ?

I was thinking maybe I have to connect the solenoid cable into two of the leads from the MAP sensor..hehe

Well, it shouldnt be a big problem to start a Nordic A`PEXI dealer

To my car the stock solenoid connector fitted A`PEXIs two pin connector

Yeppers...worked for me too. Just had to find the stock solenoid valve, and it all worked out. the boost seems a lil unstable though..I set it to 1.05, and it kept the pressure spot on for a couple drives, then flew up to 1.3 ! So I'm not sure if I've gotten it entirely right....:S heheI just connected COM to the wastegate actuator and the NO to the intake manifold, also connected the NC connector to the intake between the MAF and turbo inlet...dunno if it really matters..

Have you figured the boost settings btw ? first column is the boost.. the second...is it x100 revs ? And the last column...mostly says 255...know what it is ? Geez, definately would be nice with an english manual ! hehe

Perfect! I have connect the same way as you did but the boost preassure did not rush away like you said.I know that we set the boost preassure low when we started and staid there but I dont remember how low I have only drived my car for one hour this summer with this new ECU untill I blowed a piston So I dont have that much experience yet with Power FC`s boost control.

I just got the FC Datalogit and I hope I will understand it all better with this kitt. It cant be worse

Have seen this site? This site will help you alot to understand how the Apexi Power FC workhttp://members.dodo.com.au/pau...tm#41

That FAQ page is great ! Nobel would surely have given him a price for it ! ;-) hehethanks, it was of great help.By the way, what duty cycle did you find to be proper on the boost settings ? around 30-35ish ?
