Ive read thru all the recent idle threads none of them helped, so here goes.

If i give the engine a rev it seems to settle on 1500 rpm and then slooooowly makes its way down to the prescribed 850. The "settle" is really annoying when driving as it causes the car to jump when changing gear.

At 850 it "puts"...

The ecu is an apexi pfc, and of course to make things better i dont have a commander Ive tried adjusting the timing but even this is way out of wack. clocking approx 35*

Any help would be great,ps ive checked the regulars, iacv, hoses, exhaust leaks, etc. no problems found.

it sounds like a automatic ECU. was there a auto to manual swap?

the PFC doesnt matter what transmission u havealso i have the same setup, u need to get the commander, there are idle adjustments that u can make with it. my idle all wacked out too, it doesnt like to settle in a certain spot its always racing up & down, but i think mine might be from the iac valve

I got the commander a few days ago, amazing piece of kit!Have checked the maps and they seem to be setup as the stock map. which is fine for now. Ive adjusted the idle but hasnt made a great improvement. Will have another look today. good luck with ur own
