Just as the title states. What should I use? I have 550cc injectors, 255 lph pump, Nismo FPR and 12-14 lbs of boost on a RB20DET with RB25DET turbo. The Power FC is too costly but I don't know if the NEO would even work. Any thoughts? Power goals from 275-320 hp once I buy a new turbo and manifold.

Currently have:

Not really on a budget but I'm not looking for a dyno queen either, you know? Reliable HP is what I'm looking for. What about the emanage ultimate? You think the emanage is better than the NEO? Greddy emanage IS pretty cheap. I can get one for cheaper than what I can get a NEO for.

S-AFC III. Combines both S-AFC and V-AFC into a single unit. And it is COLOR!! woo.

I can take pics of my un-installed unit if you _really_ want me to..

dude... you cant really compare the two... one is like 350 and the other is 1000... If you have some change, go AEM. If you wanna compare the emanage to neo... then thats more like it. They are both piggy back systems so to speak. The e-manage is crap in my opinion, and i ran the vafc's in my honda days. They only manipulate the signal.. but they work for what you are going for... The neo is the way to go for your budget!

vafc and safc are complete crap... $300 for something that alters maf signals. Emanage blue and ultimate with injector and ignition harness will give you much greater tuning ability and precision. Besides the F-con its as close to a standalone as you can get, yet with a much cheaper price tag. Anyone who thinks emanage are crap, either doesn't know how to hook one up or doesn't know how to tune it...

Yes, the E-Manage sounds great on paper until they fry themselves, or just stop working randomly.

Personally I wouldn't buy one, and I think others who say stay away are saying so for a good reason. They dont have a good reputation in the community I'm from.

power FC if you can find one. It's plug and play for the most part and is a full standalone. safc's are bad because as you manipulate the maf signal the ecu is going to different cells on the timing map. unless the safc is used for fine tuning only, it has the potential to do bad things to your engine.Don't know much about the emanage. the ultimate looked neat, but it's still a piggyback controller.

p.s. you're going to have a heck of a time hitting 275 or even 300hp. Do a search for rb25 turbo, there is a thread where someone made 260ish hp, at 16psi. it won't make that kind of power for very long as the turbo's die fast after 14psi.

Not to be rude but read my first post....I said"Once I buy a new turbo and manifold." The RB25 turbo is ok until the exhaust wheel breaks off and shoots down my exhaust! That happened to a homie of mine. Funny shyte.
