Apexi Neo HELP PLEASE...

i had an apexi neo installed today in my car and sure it looks preety and all hehe but the problem is the installer sayed since my car has a fly by wire throttle body he was not able to hook up the rpm setting which of course led to me not being able to use the functions for throttle body setting or rpm setting or preety much anything else on the apexi neo i mean i just blew bout 350$ on the apexi and another 140$ on the installation i was wondering if i just threw my money away or if anyone knows of ANY possible way to get this completly installed he also sayed tat my car has 5 coils for the rpm setting and tat was also a complication cuz he couldent find the right one to hook it up to.any help on this would be greatly appreaciated thank you. o ya btw the car is a 2003 G35 Coupe 6mt

I had to google apexi neo cuz I've never heard of it. So it's an A/F controller for a stock G35 or are you highly modified? By installing this are you saying that the stock A/F ratio is off, cannot adapt, and in need of adjustment? Does it need to tie into a wide band O2 sensor for feedback?

Just wondering...cuz I thought Nissan/Infiniti has spent millions of $$$ on research and development to get their A/F ratio, and all other engine parameters correct.

All i have is a stillen exhaust and a Injen CAI, and a few other mods but all tie into sound system category which has nothing to do with this so the installer installed the apexi neo and sayed he couldnt get the part installed tat had to do with the rpm settings because the G35 has 5 coils and a fly by wire for the thottle body he also sayed something bout the rpms setting jumping all over the 5 coils and he couldent locate the correct one to give me a right rpm/ thorttle body reading so preety much the apexi neo dosent read the rpms it jumps from 7200 to 11200 rpms dont ask me how i have no idea hehe and it dosent read the throttle body setting AT ALL i cant tune my throttle body % with corrections or anything cuz i cant get the reading right or at all.

hehe no offense taken. Just kinda frustrated that this apexi thing don't work. Some new information i got today from the mechanic was, every time i turn off my car and the check engine light comes on he deleted the code and the same code keeps coming back the code is (P0452 Low Emissions Input). And on the Apexi the throttle % icon keeps blinking 100% which im positive is incorrect because the car is standing in one place :/ and the RPM's keep jumping from 7200 to about 11300. He sayed its something to do with the fact that G35s got six coils instead of just one and instead of one wire coming from the throttle body six are coming out and he cant get a strong enough single to hook it up to that sensor on the ECU. Any help on this would be GREATLY APPRECIATED once again thank you.

Sorry to hear it's not working for you.

A P0452 error code could be pointing at a loose gas cap which could kick off a low evap emission pressure. Make sure the gas cap is on tight and go from there.

thanks for the advice. But the code im not to worried about just mainly,about why the rpm setting in the apexi keep jump from 7200 to 11300 and why the throttle keeps blinking 100% hehe. Must be something with its connection to the ECU.
