i think it's just a matter of personal preference. if you like single, then you like single. if you like dual, you like dual. not much difference performance-wise i don't believe. they might have a different tone, but i'm not sure.

tone is a little louder on duals....

piping diameter the same? and the bends are the same...so then performace is the same...

the muffler will have some restricting, the N1 probrobly does have some performance benefit, but nothing you would notice in the real world...

its a style choice.

The GT spec has a larger pipe diameter. I believe they make the GT spec up to 3.74 inches which is of course larger than the 3 inch n1. I'm sure they probably make smaller versions of the GT like the n1 but I'm not really sure.

not unless you have a sr or ca making good power. Those exhausts I mentioned are for turbo charged cars, but the bigger the pipe the more power potential. It depends on what you have and what your going for. If I had a sr with like 400 rwhp I would debate between a 3 inch n1 and a GT spec. Other than that the pipe on the GT is way too big

Pipes are not the same, the single has one 3" pipe, the dual has 2 2.5" pipes. They "CLAIM" that the Dual saves some torque.. I was also told that the n1 dual was specificaly designed for the SR20det

doesn't the dual start off as 3'' then split into 2 2.25 pipes?

nitpicking: apexi doesnt use inches to measure their exhaust, its metric...the N1 catback is 80mm afaik...dont know the dual #'s off the top of my head

true they dont measure in inches but on the site they give the enlgish measurements for the piping and the millimeter size for the outlet

the dual is supposed to preserve some low end tourqe and the single is more for top end peak hp dual seems to be mor poupular with drifters and autocrossers while single seems to be more drag and wangan associated it depends on the way u look at it too i like the single more but am a drifter in training
