alrite, after having this system on for over a year, i finally got a ref ticket to take it into CHP highway patrol and have the sound tested

with silencers, that reduce sound by 7dB, does anyone know if ill be in the legal 95dB limit??

Yikes. I'm more surprised about the CHP actually letting you get it tested for noise...

Not sure if it'll pass the 95db limit either. Do you have anything else along the way that could help your situation...or worsen it...?

nope, stock headers, stock cat, just 2.5 piping and apexi dual canisters, i got pulled over with silencers off, and i just put them on today and have to take it to the highway sound meter station crap. the previous owner fought and had the sound measured at a muffler shop, and it says its at 93dB, but the cop said it wasnt a legal authorized pig shop so it didnt count

Wow, I'm not sure if that will make it in the legal range or not. When it was brand new, it would/should have passed with the silencers. Now that it's had a years worth of exhaust blowing some of the packing out... I really don't know. It'll be awefully close. Good luck.

I'd like to think "probably" but that's gonna cut it pretty close. N1's tend to be on the louder side when it comes to my local PD...
